Only host gets trophies? - PowerWash Simulator - PSNProfiles

I started playing with my friend and noticed that only he got the trophies. He was the host and I was the assistant. I also made 4x less money than him and had a limited store. Is there a way to bypass this or do we potentially have to play the game twice?
