Jonas Ackerlund to Direct 'Lords of Chaos' Film - Red Roll

Black metal band Mayhem has a history; one that Hollywood plans on bringing to the big screen. According to Variety, Jonas Acklund, former member of black metal band Bathory, is set to direct the film Lords of Chaos, based on the 1998 book of the same name. The book tells the story of Mayhem's guitarist Euronymous, who was stabbed to death by the band's bassist Varg Vikernes in 1993.
