Serialization of 'Yuragi-sou no Yuuna-san' Ends, New OVA Announced

Tadahiro Miura's Yuragi-sou no Yuuna-san (Yuuna and the Haunted Hot Springs) manga ended in the 27th issue of Weekly Shounen Jump on Monday. A new manga commemorating its four-year serialization will debut in this year's Summer edition of Jump GIGA. The issue also revealed that a two-episode original video animation will be bundled with the 24th manga volume on December 4. The OVA will adapt the 99th chapter of the manga, "Noroware no Kogarashi," and the 141st chapter, "Giri Giri!? Onsen Happening." Yuragi-sou no Yuuna-san began serialization in Weekly Shounen Jump in February 2016. Shueisha released the 22nd compiled volume on June 4, and the 23rd volume is scheduled for September. Seven Seas Entertainment licensed the manga in English in 2017 under its Ghost Ship imprint and published the ninth volume on June 2. A 12-episode television anime adapting the manga aired in Summer 2018. Aniplex of America licensed the anime and simulcast it through Crunchyroll.
