Chess sets with notches on top, do they have a name? - Chess Forums - Chess .com

Hi to all. I have seen photos of some nice Eastern European chess sets; in some of them the Bishops have a notch of the opposite colour on the top; another ones have those notches above the King, Queen and Bishops. Is there a generic name for these type of designs?
