When you first start the game, you'll spawn on the very first island called Starter Island which is for level 0+ players. As you do quests or grind on NPCs for EXP and Beli (the system currency) you level up, until eventually you hit level 50. Once you're at level 50, you can get on a boat or fly and head to the next island.
