Can't play Battlefield 3 due to PunkBuster error since update to

I just updated my Windows 8 to Windows 8.1 and now I can't play Battlefield 3. When I attempt to play in a multiplayer server, I get kicked immediately, the game quits and I get the following erro

How do I fix this? I get in a match and it kicks me after 30 secs
