Sonic the Hedgehog 2 prepped for 4K Blu-ray release on August 8

Paramount has announced that Sonic the Hedgehog 2 will be released on 4K Blu-ray, Blu-ray and DVD on August 8, following its 'download and keep' debut on digital platforms on June 15. Accompanying the film on the BD and 4K BD platters will be a new animated short – starring Sonic, Tails and Knuckles – titled 'Sonic Drone Home', plus other extra (as yet unconfirmed) bonus features.
